Tron RPG:

Ok this is the Tron RPG. Before you write anything, please read this.^^

This is a RPG played in the Universe of the 1982 movie Tron.
You, If you want to play in this RPG, play a program, so you live in the System under the MCP.
It is written as comments (not as answers to comments) to this text.
Everyone makes a 'new' comment, because after some time it's simply bothering and difficult to read when all the text windows get stretched - although it's useful if you can read anything from the beginning to the end chronologically - Especially for people who mayby later want to join that RPG and want to read what happent before they came ;).

If you have any questions, please write them directly as deviant comments into my profile, so that in this deviation only contains  the RPG.

(for marginalia to your RPG text, just make a "NRPG : ...."  before or after your marginalia)

The RPG text itself is written in Storryform - That means third person past tense ^^.

Important: You are not aloud to kill/de-rezz or play other players characters without there premission and you are not aloud to kill/de-rezz maincaracters from the movie - even if they aren't played by any particular person! If you plan such things ask the player in the first, and the gamemaster(me) in the second case!
If you want play a movie character nobody ever announced you haven't to ask but please tell the GM if you plan to kill this char if you plan this!

Try not to overpower your program. Hey it may be nice to have a program with ability cooler and stronger than anyone else... but you are just a program. Where light there should be shadow and overpowered characters are, in fact, not very good playing partners. This characters are normally not very good team players and also, in fact not very welcome by the other players who are playing normal programs. We are here to play together and not to have one program solve all problems in the system with one snap of a finger.
It's simply not very interesting to solve a plot in one Log, so please keep your character on the ground!

If you have more then one character, write
---charactername--- before your text if you chance character.
If the place on on which your character acts is different from the place the last poste pleace write ---place--- before you write your text.
It is able to write in one answer for more than one caracter. in this case, pleace write charname and place in any case before the different characters and seperat them with a long line like

--- In the deep valleys of the System ---
It was a dark age in the system... ok not so dark... it was more... a red age. Mastercontrol controlled nearly anything and there were no way to hide except... except you were so useless even the game grid was the wrong place. So in the Era of the MCP only really useless programs and control programs were able to move around real free. Programs like... Thommy(he was one from the second kind of programs).

Thommy was standing around and tried to find to do something interesting. He was board... board 'cause there were simply nothing. Ok there were houses and streets and sometimes a recognicer patrolled... but that wasn't realy helpful. He just felt... alone.
So he was running around with no specific use and tried to find something usefull he could do... he didn't found anything. So he walked down to the I/O Tower witch was closed.
"What should that mean, closed?" he shouted to the guard program.
"It's closed." the Program said a little amused. It was board too so it was happy to have someone can pushing around.
"But I need this tower! How else should I be able to communicate with my user."
A second guard came by the way. "Your user? That sounds like you want on the game grid, religious fanatic..."
"Came down..." the first program sayed. "He is just lunatic... he doesn't hurt anyone..."
"He belives in the User and that can only mean one thing - on the game grid."
"But..." the first one sayed.
"Orders by the MCP." the second said.
So the to guard programs brought Thommy to the game barracks were he should be trained for the games.

PCP stood around near the Game-Grid, she was a Control Program. But not any mere Control Program, she was the Daughter of the MCP. Not many programs knew that though. When you're the spawn of the program that ruled the system. Of course there'd be programs looking forward to kill her to get at the MCP.

Noticing the Guards dragging a program along to the entrance to the Game-Grid. She sighed.
"Poor program." She said, sighing at the poor program's luck.
"Probably mentioned he liked users too loudly." She said, Frowning deeply. Unlike her father. She didn't hate users or programs that believed in the users. She respected them. Something her Uncle, wouldn't approve of at all. Sitting down on the edge to watch a Light-Cycle match.

--
"In the name of the Master Control Program, I do so pledge my allegiance to him. To follow his orders willingly and without defiance, may I be in his good grace until my de-resolution."
-Proud Supporter of the Master Control Program.-
Staring silent at the free space in front of her June emmediately turned left and began to surround her opponent.
She didn't expect that match to take very long, but all in all she however didn't care if it would...
By contrast with most of the other programs at the game grid she neither found light cycle matches laborious nor entertaining - She just did it because she was good at what she did.
Regarding the fact that this was not her actual use, because June *had* no actual use, she was content to do something at least useful to others...
Even if that meant to be the an entertainment show to others or to finish programs who were not as experienced as June was.
However...
She had the illusion of fulfilling some sort of a sense - A right to exist for her.

Even though Sark more than once told her, that she wasn't useless, June most of her time felt useless.
Only because of his believe in her she continnued her work - Although Sark hated when June played Games, and always mourned that she one day could have bad luck...
This care - and her ability to steer each and everything - Made him draft her as pilot aboard his carrier.
This and more.
June sighed qietly, realizting, that she again was without concentration...

Finally completely encircled her opponent she turned him adrift while he was doing his spirals inside the energy walls June spun around him.
Driving some wavy lines June was waiting until the match was finished to see, if more programs would join, or her work today was done.

PCP watched from her place on the Game-Grid wall.
"The Box-in trick, old, but very effective..." She said before getting up and walking to the enterance of the Game-Grid to check who was competing in that round. After finding out who it was, she promptly left. She wasn't allowed to be in the Game-Grid itself. Mainly because the Commander didn't like her intruding on 'His territory'.
"Stupid uncle, should go De-Rezz for all I care." Muttered angrily, Not caring about any guards she passed. Yeah. PCP had a problem with Sark, He 'Babysat' her when she was a younger program. Now he personally couldn't care less. He had to watch over her, her father made him do so. Threatening Sark with de-resolution and other punishments if Sark let her die. That didn't stop him from giving her a hard time. Somewhat fortunately he was too busy worrying about some other program who was a navigator for his carrier.
"Hmph, I could do better with my eyes closed and with one hand. Do you see me getting any compliments for it? Fuck no." PCP muttered angrilly and stomped off somewhere else.

Thommy was walking to the cellblock and watched Junes fight from the bridge. A good fighter, he thought, before the guards ordered him to move and didn't forget to use their painsticks.
"Ok ok I'll move." he said and went to his new home. "Were is my energie, I'm hungry!" he shouted. "I NEED my ENERGY!" he shouted again. The guard came back and used his painstick
"Shut up"
"but..."
"Shut up"
"I..."
"Just stop talking."
"Okey"
"I said stop"
"k"
The Guard used his stick again and left Thommy.
"Dame my User needs me..."

--- in the real world ---
Thommys user was real happy. This stupid usless program didn't try to kill the system sice he started his session today.

--- back in the computer---
"...realy!"
The guard program came back.
"Don't you understand, your here prissoned, so just shut up!"

Standing there waiting June was thinking about how it must feel to be de-rezzed.
When she was transported off the grid she at least knew the match was over.
However - She didn't care.

Just as she appeared inside the large corridor were some other programs, game grid warriors, recruits and guards were doing their work June got a rather unexpected but welcome surprise.
Frowning and sighing Sark stood in front of June, staring at her as if she would be the strangest thing he had ever seen.
June smiled a little.
"Greetings! -" She began silent but friendly.

"Please... Not again, that can't be...
How many times did I tell you I don't want you to participate games..." Sark sighed eyes rolling, and grabbing for her shoulder to get her out of the recess from where the programs were transported to the game grid.
Raising an eyebrow June looked at him - He looked worried...
Although June felt very flattered by that she hated that look on his face, and emmediately felt guilty again.
Behind June four other programs took their position and were transported away to start a new match.
June looked at them, then again at Sark.
"Didn't meant to worry you. Well - I was however successful."
"This time..." He replied with a strange mixture of worry, anger and annoyance.
June smiled cheerful and nodded.
"Well - Then I won't do it unless it's absolutely necessary."
"Absolutely necessary?!" He shouted.
"Well - Nobody asks me if I'm worried if you participate games..." June answered silent.

Sark stared musing at June.
Just as he wanted to say something the two got sidetracked by some new guy who apparently didn't seem to get the meaning of 'shut up' and rather followed by his two guards nearly ran Sark and June over ;)

"I'm a free program I knew my rights."
The guard roled his eyes.
"You are not 'free', and your rights are?"
"Well my rights... my rights... damned... I don't knew..." Thommy sayed.
The guard used its painstick. So Thommy didn't find a other way than go.
"That hurts."
"It's a painstick, I would wonder if it wouldn't." the guard said.
"Why do you hurt me?"
"Just shut up."
The guard stands still. "Oh Comander Sark, what a plag... pleasure to meet you."
The Comander looked at the guard. "A new program?"
"He is harmless, stupid but harmless."
"I'm not stupid!" Thommy shouted.
"And he is not harmless." Sark said. "He's a beliver in the users, he is a terrorist."
"Aye Commander Sark" the guard shouted.
"So you are Sark, I heared from you..." Thommy asked.
"Don't talk to the Comander" the Guard shouted.
"But..."
"shut up"
"I"
"Just shut up!"
"Why are you shouting?"
"Cause you dont shut up." the guard shouted again and used its painstick.

June raised an eyebrow.
"He REALLY is amazingly stupid."
She looked shortly at Sark and squeezed his hand softly, then turned around and stared curiously at the new one.

"Why dont you do what they say?" She began, staring fascinated at Thommy.
Maybe something on him was damaged - maybe he wasn't even able to realize what happent around him.
"Dont't you understand what all that's about, or do you want to annoy others knowingly?"
She still was staring at Thommy - Not amused or something like that, but quite fascinated by his more than strange behaviour.

Sark grabbed for Junes hand and pulled her slowly back.
"Better don't get close to him..."

Thommy starred at June.
"I don't understand that I just wanted to reach my user..." the guard used his painstick.
"I said that hurts!"
"I know..." the guard said amused.
"And this guys told me the I/O tower is closed and brought me here. And I should understand this? Listen, maybe you understand this, but I knew my user needs me!"

---in the real world---
Thommys user couldn't belive it. So long without this program. It was just a wonderful day.

---in the computer---
"Why you guys can't understand this. I have a job to do."
"I don't belive that you ever where an useful program." Sark meaned.
"I am useful, there are a lot of thinks wouldn't run without me."
The guard looked quiet amused. "I don't think so.
"And why are you hear?" he asked June, didn't knew anything about her. More correct he also didn't knew anything about Sark and anything hear. This were all new to him.
